This large, heavy absinthe glass is a popular choice among absinthe enthusiasts.
Made in France by the house of La Rochère, the Pontarlier Bistro glass is the model of thick glass that you'd find at all the good cafes in the area serving absinthe in the early 20th century. The "Pontarlier" name is attributed to an advertising panel created using a painting by Charles Maire, a French painter.
Due to the non-traditional molded glass making method, the glass always has an exact shape, allowing for the perfect measurement of absinthe in the reservoir every time.
Makes a great gift when paired with our absinthe spoon.
